I didn't even had a concrete plan just a bunch of ideas that should be implemented to make of my country a rich and peaceful country. I still think I can do a lot to improve my country, but now I see the time and money constraint and the fact that some people do not want to change and have a more concrete plan (This blog is part of the plan. I think many issues are not talked about in Mexico and they are in need to be discussed). Now I understand that changing the entire country is going to be difficult and I don't think I am going to see the whole outcome of my efforts in my lifetime but I am happy just to change one or two opinions.Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18432717833157161561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66202835086565986.post-35651201603983628942010-03-10T08:51:49.110-05:002010-03-10T08:51:49.110-05:00I agree teenagers can be a bit naive. What kind of dreams do you mean?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16326832043290849181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66202835086565986.post-67109901109328045992010-01-01T20:14:29.067-05:002010-01-01T20:14:29.067-05:00I never thought that was the reason and I think yo...I never thought that was the reason and I think you make perfect sense. I also admit I like to take care of myself but I like to look my age just well preserved. I believe that is the right attitude.Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18432717833157161561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66202835086565986.post-63518549514570956342009-12-31T14:13:28.036-05:002009-12-31T14:13:28.036-05:00In a modern society I would tend to link almost an...In a modern society I would tend to link almost anything to ingenious methods to boost consumption. As far as I know, in many traditional societies youth is inferior. As you already suggested, getting older implies getting wiser and having authority. Youth lacks the wisdom and the authority, hence the inferiority. However, the modern society tries to impose upon us the cult of youth and beauty. It is the grown-ups and senior people who have the most money to spend and this worshipping of young and beautiful is the best way to make them pour money on ways to get their lost youth back.<br />I admit that I do appreciate youth and also, there is nothing wrong with splashing out from time to time to make ourselves feel better. But this whole corporate plan behind the youth adoration is plain ugly. Superficial things rule the world.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05138396726468474363noreply@blogger.com
