This list does not contain five books because thankfully I have not found many bad books
“The alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. It was very disappointing to find out that this novel is just a longer version of an Arabic tale I read in elementary school. I think Coelho does not improve the original tale in any way.
“The clone and I” by Danielle Steel. This author writes novels that seem more like soap operas. However I think some of her novels are good because she picks interesting topics and locations. The problem with this particular book is that it is so original it's absurd. One of the characters of the book creates a clone of himself so he can travel a lot and his partner will not realize he's gone. There is no need of more words.
“The eight” by Katherine Neville. It's a thriller that takes place is New York, Europe and Argelia. Even though the topic is interesting the writing is very boring and the argument is not credible
